This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for TCC and our websites and This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by these websites, except where stated otherwise. It will notify you of the following:

Information Collection, Use and Sharing

TCC generally does not collect personal information on its websites. We are a data processer of information provided to us by our business clients, typically referred to as “data controllers”.

We will process this information to respond to our business clients solely for the reason they have contracted with us. We will not share information with any third party outside our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill our clients’ requests, or to comply with legal requirements.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect any Personal Information that you choose to send to us or provide to us, for example, on our “Contact” online form or if you register for a TCC webinar. If you contact us through the website, we will keep a record of our correspondence.

Information We Automatically Collect

When you visit the websites, we collect certain information related to your device, such as your device’s IP address, referring website, what pages your device visited, and the time that your device visited our website.

Information We Collect from Our Clients

TCC works with a variety of clients to provide them with employment and income verification services, or tax credit opportunities. To provide these services, TCC may collect personally identifiable information from these clients.

Employment and Income Verification Services

In the normal course of our employment and income verification business, our clients may provide us with employment and wage data, including associated personal information, for us to provide employment and income verifications to third parties on behalf of these clients and their current or former employees. To the extent you are a current or former employee of one of our clients, we may have employment and wage data that pertains to you that we have received from your current or former employer. We disclose such information to third parties consistent with our contracts with our clients and only to provide services you request, as necessary to comply with the law, and/or as otherwise permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Tax Credit Services

In the normal course of our tax credit services business, our clients may provide us with employment and wage data. Additionally, some of our clients will leverage integrations we have with various human capital management (HCM) systems to obtain specific information to enable clients to qualify for certain tax credits. To the extent you are or were a prospective, current, or former employee of one of our tax credit clients, we may have employment or other relevant information that pertains to you that we have received from your current or former employer. This information is collected subject to a confidentiality agreement with our clients. We disclose such information to third parties consistent with our client contracts and only provide information for tax credit certification purposes, or as necessary to comply with the law.

Legal Compliance

As mentioned above, in certain instances, TCC may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose personal information or other information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

TCC’s services are not structured to attract children. Accordingly, we do not solicit or knowingly collect any personal information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age. If we are made aware that information is or has been submitted by or collected from a child younger than 13, we will immediately delete their personal information.

Unless otherwise specified, we will retain personal information we process on behalf of our clients for as long as needed to provide our services to our clients and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to comply with our document retention policies, or to enforce our agreements.

Security and Privacy

Regardless of the method it was collected, TCC is committed to the security and privacy of the personally identifiable information we process. We leverage multiple security controls to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data we process. TCC strives to meet and exceed the strictest security standards and frameworks. Where possible, we use pseudo-anonymization to mask personally identifiable information to prevent any possible misuse. We take elaborate steps to protect information in transit to and from TCC, and while it resides on TCC systems.

We recognize that no system or network is guaranteed to be 100% secure, and thus we have mechanisms in place to address any possible breach in accordance with best practices and requirements by applicable laws.


TCC makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided to us. We extensively test information provided to us directly by our clients for accuracy. Discrepancies are checked with our clients and corrected as necessary. On occasion, we also reach out to individuals to validate the data we were provided. Systematic discrepancies are escalated to ensure ongoing information TCC processes is accurate and timely.

Protection of Personally Identifiable Information

TCC discloses personally identifiable information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that have need to know this information in order to process it and provide services to its respective clients. None of these employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations are based outside of the United States.

Individual's Rights to Access and Control Over Information

Individuals have certain rights with respect to their personal information. If an individual is a current or former employee of our clients and seeks access to, or to correct or delete inaccurate information, the individual should direct their query to said employer. The individual may also contact us as described in this Privacy Policy. We will promptly investigate and, if warranted, correct or delete any relevant information. We commit to respond to such requests within timeframes prescribed by applicable privacy laws.

Under certain circumstances TCC may not be able to fulfill a data subject access request (DSAR), as it may interfere with our regulatory obligations, it affects legal matters, we cannot verify your identity, or it involves disproportionate cost or effort. In any event, we will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and provide a full explanation.

In its role as a Data Processor, TCC will honor and support any client requests they provide us with respect to personal information.

Corporate Transactions and Tranfers

If TCC, or some of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that TCC goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, personal information may be part of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. Such transfers may occur, and any acquirer of these assets may continue to use this personal information as set forth in this policy.

In such an event, we will provide a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership, of any resulting new uses of personal information that may not be compatible with this Privacy Policy, and of choices individuals may have regarding their personal information.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy
