Notice 2020-23, which cites the COVID-19 emergency declaration, clarifies that employers now have until July 14, 2020 to submit the form 8850 to a state workforce agency (SWA) if the 28th day falls on or after April 1, 2020 and before July 15, 2020.

Updated WOTC forms announcement by the Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA)

On April 29, US Department of Labor (DOL) released updated versions of ETA form 9061, Individual Characteristics Form and ETA form 9175, Long Term Unemployed Self-Attestation Form (SAF). Though no deadline to begin using these new forms has been provided, TCC will soon have these forms updated to conform to the announcement. There are no changes to the forms other than the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) expiration dates. The new forms are approved by OMB through March 31, 2023.
